The Thomson Indoor Microphone Transmitter is simply installed in and connected to the built-in housing of an existing de-energized switch. All the receivers in the series, such as lights or power outlets, are already becoming wireless control points. The power is supplied by a battery, so that no connection to the mains is needed.
