Our wind load-rated kit is designed with specific hardware, such as jamb brackets, hinges, rollers and reinforcing struts that can withstand wind pressures. These combined components, along with the door sections themselves, make up a complete wind load system and help protect your home against garage door failure during a high wind event. This product has been tested under +40.5/-46.20 PSF conditions to form a +25.0/-28.2 PSF 160MPH design. Proper door selection is the responsibility of the homeowner. Wind speed assumes a typical application and category B topography as defined by ASCE 7-16.
