Completely safe. Operating Process: Place the Mist Maker into a water container. The water level sensor switch must be completely submerged under water (about 1/4 1/2 in. is optimal). If submerged any further than inch than the mist will not work optimally. Connect the mist maker with the adapter. Plug in the adapter into your outlet. If there is no mist or the LED lights are not operating, please note that you do not have enough water, as it is not submerged completely.
