Check t he grace period setting in the service’s Configur ation screen. You can set a sm aller
grace period to short en t he queue tim e.
2c I f you cannot find any log m essages about t he file:
Make sure the Folder W a tch List includes t he folder containing the file. You can upload t he
file t o t he wat ch folder again.
Make sure t he file’s form at is supported by Flickr or YouTube. You can find t he supported file
extensions in the Folde r W a t ch List .
2d I f t he log m essage displays not aut horized yet , check if you can enter t he NAS’s
Configura t ion screen for t he service. I f you changed t he password of your Flickr or YouTube
account , you cannot access t he service’s Configu rat ion screen, and t he NAS cannot auto
upload files. Make sure you also updat e t he account inform at ion in the NAS.
3 Make sure t he file size does not exceed the lim it im posed by t he service. At the t im e of writing,
Flickr restrict s t he file size to 10 MB, and YouTube restrict s t he file size to 100 MB.
4 Make sure you did not exceed t he service’s upload quota. Flickr and YouTube have different policies
about how m uch you can upload wit hin a certain period, for exam ple, 100 MB/ week.
5 The NAS m ay have t em porarily failed t o connect t o the service. You can upload the file t o t he wat ch
folder again.
28.17 Package Management
The NAS wont install t he package( s) I select ed in t he Package M a nagem e nt screen.
The web location of t he package m ay be undergoing m aintenance. Try again at a later t im e.
Upgrade the firm ware of t he NAS.
I f a new firm ware is available, do an upgrade and t ry installing t he package( s) again.
I want t o know how m y hard disk is perform ing.
Use S.M.A.R.T. ( Self Monitoring, Analysis, and Report ing Technology) t o m onit or hard disks. I t
det ect s and report s t he reliability of hard disks using standard indicators, enabling adm inistrat ors t o
anticipate possible disk failures.
