Fastening System Each and every piece of our furniture uses a simple, yet effective fastening system to quickly assemble & adjust. PLACE THE UNIT IN DESIRED LOCATION AGAINST WALL WHILE LINING EITHER THE RIGHT OR LEFT FLANGE WITH A WALL STUD. 2. LIGHTLY MARK YOUR WALL USING A PENCIL THROUGH THE FLANGE SCREW HOLES ( 4 MARKS NEEDED TOTAL). 3. REMOVE UNIT FROM WALL AND PREDRILL YOUR 4 MARKED SPOTS USING A 1/4" DRILL BIT. 4. LOOSEN FLANGE SET SCREWS AND REMOVE FLANGES FROM UNIT.
3 IMPORTANT: TO INSURE PROPER AND SAFE INSTALLATION OF YOUR SHELF; YOU MUST: 1. PLACE THE UNIT IN DESIRED LOCATION AGAINST WALL LINING AT LEAST ONE SIDE UP WITH A STUD. 2. LIGHTLY MARK YOUR WALL USING A PENCIL IN EACH MOUNTING HOLE ON THE FLANGES. 3. REMOVE UNIT FROM WALL AND PREDRILL YOUR 4 MARKED SPOTS USING A 3 " DRILL BIT 16 IF NOT GOING DIRECTLY INTO STUD, USE ANCHOR (ITEM 7). DRILL 5 " HOLE AND HAMMER 16 ANCHOR INTO PLACE. 4.
