CHAPTER 4 – USING PLAYLISTS
Playlists allow you to create and playback a sequence of Cuts that are assigned to Hot-Keys. You
can set Playlists for Follow-On
or Manual-Step playback. Refer to the section Creating a New
Playlist, immediately below.
In Manual-Step mode, the playlist will pause after each cut until you press PLAY. In follow-on
mode, the playlist will play all cuts to the end of the playlist.
You can create one Playlist for each Bank.
Creating a New Playlist
Set the Bank
Instant Replay has 10 Hot-Key banks. Each bank of Hot-Keys can have it’s own Playlist. You can
tell what bank you are currently on by pressing the BANK SELECT key. The keys 1 through 10 will
blink with the exception of the key denoting the current bank, which will be solid. If you want to
make a playlist for a different bank than the current bank, simply hit the numbered key for the bank
you want to make a playlist for.
Clear the Playlist
If a Playlist is already assigned to the selected BANK, pressing PLAYLIST will indicate the first
Cut in the Playlist and the Hot-Key the cut it is assigned to will blink. To create a new playlist in its
place, you need to clear the playlist. . If PLAYLIST PROTECTION is ON, the Playlist cannot be
cleared.
Press MENU->PLAYLIST then ENTER.
