Note: Uploading groups of files with long but similar file names may result in many cuts having
the same name. This is the only case in which identical file names are allowed.
For Example:
Upload the following three files.
123456789abcdef_01.wav
123456789abcdef_02.wav
123456789abcdef_03.wav
They will all be named 123456789abcde~.wav. However, they will all have a unique index
number and, often, a unique duration, so they can be identified on the local Display Module. You
may then rename them if you so desire, using the local Display Module or using the FTP client.
On the Local Display Module the ‘~’ character looks like a little superscript square.
Supported FTP Clients
Instant Replay includes an RFC-1359 compliant FTP server. The user connects to the FTP server
using a commercially available FTP client. Most FTP clients should work with Instant Replay,
but it has been tested with the following products. Table 2 indicates approved FTP clients.
