4 Close the global Advanced Settings dialog box by clicking OK.
In some networking technologies, particularly Ethernet, it is normal to see
spikes in the traffic rates, where the traffic rate suddenly increases to very
high levels for very short periods of time before returning to low levels.
These spikes are not indicative of a network problem, but are normal
behavior.
Disabling event suppression will result in events being generated for all
such spikes.
