582 CHAPTER 14: BULK CONFIGURATION
The configuration summary tree provides an overview of the features
available in the configuration template being edited. There is one entry in
the tree for each feature panel in the configuration template. Navigate to
any of the feature panels in the configuration template by selecting the
associated entry, by feature name, in the configuration summary tree.
The appearance of a green tick against a feature name, in the
configuration summary tree, indicates that one or more of the attributes
in the associated feature panel have been enabled and will be applied to
the selected devices or ports. Only features that have one or more
enabled attributes will be configured when applying the configuration
template to a device or port selection. See
Feature Configuration
Panelson page 582 for information on how to enable attributes within a
feature.
The appearance of a yellow warning triangle against a feature name, in
the configuration summary tree, indicates that the current settings in the
associated feature panel are invalid. Navigate to the corresponding
feature panel, by selecting the associated entry in the tree, for a detailed
explanation of the problem. Invalid feature settings must be resolved
before it is possible to apply a configuration template to a device or port
selection.
Feature Configuration Panels
Each feature configuration panel represents the current settings for a
single feature in a configuration template. Most features are made up of
more than one attribute; the configuration panels allow these attributes
to be enabled or disabled individually and to specify a value or set of
values for each of the enabled attributes. Only attributes that are enabled
will be applied to the target device(s).
