SUBSTRUCTURE GENERATE
PROPERTY EVALUATION
Set this parameter equal to the frequency at which to evaluate frequency-dependent properties
for viscoelasticity, springs, and dashpots during th e s ubstructure generation. If this parameter
is om itted, ABAQUS/Standard will evaluate the stiffness associated with frequency-dependent
springs and dashpots at zero frequency and will not cons ider the stiffness contributions fr om
frequency-domain viscoelasti city in the

SUBSTRUCTURE GENERATE step.
RECOVERY MATRIX
Set RECOVERY MATRIX=NO to specify that output of element or nodal information will not
be available within this s ubstructure. The default is RECOVE RY MAT RIX=YES, indicating
that recovery of internal variables will be possible for most analysis procedures. See “Using
substructures,” Section 10.1.1 of the ABA QUS Analysis U ser’s Manual, for further discussion.
There are no data lines associated with this option.
