typical painting.

Conformable backing: Vinyl and polyethylene backings conform well to many

complex curves and tight radius applications.

Variety of colors: Large selection of colors allows good contrast from other

areas/applications. Use for marking lab, safety and fire equipment, stairwells,

caution areas, warehouse areas.

Abrasion resistance: Pigmented backings maintain their vivid colors even

when exposed to heavy abrasion.

Good dead stretch: Will not shrink or leave adhesive residue.

Process Tapes can be applied by hand or by dispenser to a wide variety of surfaces. For “difficult to adhere to” or otherwise contaminated or dirty surfaces, adhesion performance can be increased by using 3M™ Tape Primer No. 81. Additional Product Information 3M™ Vinyl Tape 471 — Ten colors plus transparent; good dead stretch properties; long lasting due to abrasion-resistant backing.
