Slim Lock Closures for wireless weatherprooﬁng

applications are compact closures that protect high-density

RF connections at the cell site.

These innovative, one-handed closures are reusable,

re-enterable and tool-less, making them a time-saving,

cost-effective, easy-to-use solution for the wireless industry.

They can be used at RF connection points on both the

antenna and Remote Radio Unit (RRU) in an FTTA installation.

3M has Slim Lock Closures available to weatherproof DIN-716,

Mini-DIN, N-Type as well as other smaller RF connectors.

3M™ Cold Shrink 3M™ Cold Shrink tubing, first developed by 3M, keeps moisture out and cables in, all without heat, special tools or time-consuming procedures. Cold shrink tubing consists of a factory-expanded, open-ended rubber sleeve with a removable plastic core perforated in a spiral pattern. The core is removed by hand after the tube has been positioned over the connection. When the plastic core is pulled away, the sleeve collapses to form a tight, waterproof seal around the connection.
