The only UL-listed Telecom/Coax
circuit tracer in the industry
The compact, hand-held 3M
DT-1000 Telecom Tester quickly
verifies the condition of wiring in
patch cords and coaxial cables not
installed through walls or bulkheads.
The DT-1000 uses both lights and
speech to identify opens, shorts and
good cables. It can also identify if a
patch cord is straight through or cross
pinned. Power is drawn from its nine-
volt battery only during the actual test,
saving battery life.
The DT-1000 Telecom Tester tests
RJ-44 and RJ-45 telephone cables as
well as coaxial cables with connectors
for F or BNC-type connectors (with
F-to-BNC adapter), up to 1500 feet in
length.
For added protection in the
everyday work environment, the
UL-listed* DT-1000 features a molded
rubber boot to absorb shocks and
prevent keypad and connector damage.
*Tested at the Underwriter’s Laboratories, Inc.
for use both in the USA and Canada. UL File
#E214240.
