Introduction and Basics
Cleaning Sprite
Sprite is a state-of-the art cabinet X-ray system with a touch screen on the exterior and all
electrical, mechanical, and computer components located inside. Because Sprite contains such
components, its care should be similar to that of an appliance. Any liquid around Sprite should be
considered a potential electrical shock hazard. You should not spray, pour or otherwise allow any
fluids in Sprite's vicinity.
Brushed Stainless Steel
Sprite's front and staging area surfaces are primarily brushed stainless steel. IMTEC
recommends the use of cleaning wipes formulated specifically for stainless steel.
Exterior Cabinet
Sprite's other exterior cabinet surfaces are metal and thick plastic. IMTEC recommends the use
of multi-purpose pre-moistened cleaning wipes for these surfaces.
Touch screen
Sprite's touch screen is made of glass. IMTEC recommends the use of pre-moistened glass-
cleaning wipes for this surface.
