Machine Specifications
Sprite is a small industrial X-ray CT (computed tomography) scanning machine. Samples to be
scanned are placed in a plastic or Styrofoam canister, which then is set on the stage in the
cabinet.
Image viewing and reconstruction are performed through the embedded computer. Sprite allows
you to transfer your scan data to a removable storage unit so you may download it to a computer
that is equipped with ILUMAVision Industrial.
Sprite complies with all federal regulations for cabinet X-ray equipment set by the U.S. Food and
Drug Administration, all UL standards for electrical equipment for measurement, control and
laboratory use, and the limits for a Class A digital device, pursuant to part 15 of the FCC Rules.
This Class A digital apparatus complies with Canadian ICES-003. Please see Safety for more
information.
