3 Headtop Peripheral Setup
3.1 Initial Setup
The following setup steps are necessary to use your Connected PPE system for the very first time:
• Headtop Peripherals, Safety Hubs, and other equipment must be commissioned into your
company inventory
• An initial hub device registration and authentication on the 3M™ Connected Safety Cloud
application
• Work areas created and Workers entered in the Cloud application
• Safety Rules must be configured if using more than the default rulesets
