2. Remove Safety Hub battery cover.

3. Place the hub face down on a flat surface with the battery compartment opening upward-

facing.

4. Insert the battery with the label facing up to properly seat the pack (Figure 1).

5. Replace the battery cover and tighten screws to secure in place. A size #1 Phillips head

screwdriver will be necessary to secure the battery cover. To avoid over-tightening that may

damage the battery cover, screw heads should be flush with the battery cover surface when

fully tightened.

Disposal:

In the United States and Canada, 3M participates in the Call2Recycle program which provides for 3M™

Rechargeable Batteries to be dropped off (free of charge) at participating recycling collection sites.
