DESCRIPTION:
A tissue coated on both sides with a repulpable
adhesive for quick grab to newsprint. Tape
and nose tabs are furnished on an easy-release
p
aper liner.
CONSTRUCTION:
Adhesive: Blue, high tack, repulpable
Liner: Silicone-coated, repulpable, semi-
bleached kraft paper
Tape roll length: 36 yds. (33 m)
Nose tab size: 2-1/4" x 3" (57mm x 76mm)

quantity measurements for the fiber, splicing tape, and
water. Non-representative results can occur if test
guidelines are not followed.
APPLICATION CONDITIONS:
For optimum results, firm, even rub-down
pressure must be applied to the taped area
to create the best possible adhesion between
the tape and paper surface. A plastic wiper
(3M
™
Hand Applicator PA1-B) or similar tool
can be very effective in achieving proper,
uniform pressure.

detected by the electric eyes
which trigger activation of the
cut off knife and bump roller
during a flying splice.
The mat’s specially formulated
adhesive system captures dirt
on contact from shoe soles
and other passing objects. The
adhesive locks dirt in place until
the sheet is renewed by pulling
on the numbered tab to remove.
The new sheet is ready for
immediate use.
