Recommended Oper
ating Speeds :
10,000-12,000 RPM rated pneumatic tools are recommended. These speeds provide high cut and
limit product wear and potential bristle loss due to bristle fatigue. Slower speeds to prevent bristle
loss are recommended where significant bristle flexing occurs, such as cleaning around fasteners and
down into channels.

• Sealant cleaning from fasteners prior to removal
• Smoothing sealant beads between adjacent skin panels (aerodynamic smoothing sealant)
• Sealant removal from window sealing surfaces on fuselage (WARNING: Do not use directly on
acrylic window surfaces as windows may be damaged.)
