Working with filters
Filters are created and managed on three levels of
pages:
The
ID Settings
tab lists all filters and validators and
provides access to the pages on which you add and
edit them.
The
Barcode Filters
pages show customer or item
filters and enable you to test the filters as a group.
These pages also enable you to delete filters and to
edit filters on the
Edit Filters
pages.
The
Add
(or
Edit
)
Filter
pages are used to create or
edit filters and to test them individually.
(To return to a higher-level page, use the navigation bar
in the top left corner of the page.)
The following procedures apply to both customer and
item ID filters. The filter commands are described in “ID
filter language” beginning on page 61.

section, type a name for the
filter and specify constraints and actions. See “ID
