Product Description
The reader is a small desktop device with:
• A document window for placement of documents to be read
• 4 status indicator LEDs
• back panel communication and power connection ports

Note: The reader is shown with the optional contact smart card module.
Document Window
The document window is a glass surface located on top of the reader. Place documents on the
window to scan them. Keep this surface clean to ensure optimum operation of the reader.

Indicator LEDs
The LEDs indicate the reader status and the result of scanning a document.
