neededtosortchecked-initemsunassistedbylibrarystaff.

UptothreeStandardBinsModel2899canbedockednextto

thesorterforautomaticsortationofchecked-initems.

•AredEmergencyStopbuttonismountedonthesorter

cover.Pressingthisbuttonwillimmediatelystopall

processesinboththeinductionsystemandsorter.

•Thesortercoveriscompletelytransparent,providingboth

protectionandaclearviewofthesortationprocess.

•Thesorterconveyorcanbeconfiguredtooperateinsync

withtheinductionsystemconveyor,providingafully

automatedprocess.

•Thesweeperunitispositionedperpendiculartothe

conveyor,andtwosweepersattachedtothebeltpush

checked-initemsintotheappropriatebookbins(tothe

leftorright).Athirdbincollectsitemsfromtheendof

theconveyor.

•Adiverterbetweentheconveyorandeachbookbin

spreadsitemsevenlyinthebins.

•Sortersystemelectronicsarelocatedintheelectronics

enclosurebeneaththeconveyor.

•SorterSystemModel2840powerisindependentfrom

theinductionsystem,requiringitsownpowercable

connectiontoapoweroutlet.

•Uptothreeeasilytransportablebookbins(Model2899)

canbesimultaneouslydockedatthesorter.Libraryitems

arenotsubjectedtoexcesswearsinceeachbinisequipped

withaspring-supportedfloorthatgreatlyreducesthe

distancebetweentheconveyorandthebinfloor.
