Instruction manual
value is B=0 and Master-8-cp does not send information to your PC.
When you want to read information from Master-8-cp, enter ‘B1E’ (which means B=1, ENTER).
The Master-8-cp then sends your PC all the information that appears on its front panel display. When
you don’t want to read information any more, set to B=0 using the instruction ‘B0E’.
C. Your PC Checks Parameters of the Master-8-cp
When Master-8-cp accepts a CHECK instruction, it recognizes whether it was sent by the front panel
keys or by the computer. If it was sent by the keys Master-8-cp waits a while after displaying each
parameter. If it was sent by the computer Master-8-cp does not wait at all and sends the suitable
information to the computer. In the case of the CHECK instruction, Master-8-cp sends information
even when B=0.
There are 2 instructions that you can use in order to check the status of the Master-8:
1. The instruction ‘HXE’
This instruction checks all the internal connections, (e.g. ‘CHECK,CONNECT,ENTER’) and
invokes Master-8-cp to send a table of all the internal connections to the computer (see Table 3).
Table 3.
Notes:
‘*’ - Symbolizes that there is an operational connection between the two
