READ ALL PRECAUTIONS AND INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY. Before installing: When installing: Do not install this filtration system where the line pressure may exceed 100 psi. INSTALLATION GUIDE n Turn off cold water supply. Remove existing fitting and/or tubing from cold water side of faucet. H Loosely assemblies housing to filter head and attach filter bracket. Allow enough room te use housing wrench plus a minimum of 2 172" clear space below the unit to allow for filter replacement. Once this is done, disassemble components for installation.
4 INSTALLATION GUIDE n ‘Wrap Teflon® tape (2 172 wraps} to the right around the 3/8" Push-In Fittings and fasten to filter head. (See Figure 4). Do not use pipe sealant {dope), as solvents in some types of pipe dope may b cause damage to plastic fittings. CARE AND MAINTENANCE : TROUBLESHOOTING Water leaks at fittings: Slowly tighten until leak stops. Rated service flow 2.0 gom Water peaks at Push-In connections: Push tube in as far as it will go. For how long: This warranty runs for 365 days from the date of purchase by a consumer (“Warranty Period”).
