The high capacity solar pump station is a pre-mounted piping group used to circulate the

solar fluid in the solar circuit. It contains important fittings and safety devices for the

operation of the solar thermal system:

A Pump (with a by-pass to eliminate air bubbles building up)

B Flow meter to display the flow rate

C Ball valves to isolate the pump group

D Non return valve (only with non drain back systems)

E Solar security group

F Expansion vessel

Note:

The solar expansion vessel required for operation is not a part of this station

and must be ordered separately.

Note:

It is advised to install a valve to isolate the solar expansion vessel. This is not

part of the delivery of this pump station.

G Relay control box (labelled as CB x.x and referred to as CB-box)

H Solar control, there are two types off solar control:

1. Solar Heating Control (SHM-Control):

Control is part of the water heater (labelled as SHM x.x)

2. Resol Control:

Control is part of this pump station

I Fill and drain valves to flush and fill the solar thermal system

J Manometer to display the installation pressure
