4 COMMISSIONING [INSTALLER]
Observe the following safety instructions regarding the commissioning of the station:
Attention: Risk of burns and scalding!
The valves and ttings can heat to temperatures of more than 100 °C due to
the solar uid. Therefore, do not clean or ll the installation with the collector’s
heated (intense sunshine). Observe that hot solar uid can leak from the safety
valves in case of too high system pressure!
Attention: Risk of frost!
It often happens that the solar system cannot be completely drained after
ushing. Thus, there is a risk of frost damage when ushing with water.
Therefore, do only use the solar uid used later to ush and ll the solar
system. Use a water and propylene glycol mixture with max. 50 % propylene
glycol as solar uid.
Note regarding the commissioning sequence
When putting the system into operation, rst ll the heating circuit and then
the solar circuit. This guarantees that eventually absorbed heat can also be
dissipated.
