COVERAGE and DURATION
CARDONE warrants that it will provide a free replacement for any A1 CARDONE unit that fails or proves
defective during normal use on the vehicle on which it was originally installed. This warranty does not apply to an A1
CARDONE product which has been altered, misused, damaged, installed improperly, installed on a vehicle for which it
was not designed, installed on a racing or high performance vehicle, or, in the case of A1 CARDONE Master Cylinders,
installed using the wrong brake fluid (use only D.O.T. 3 or D.O.T. 4 as per OE specifications). Limited lifetime protec-
tion excludes use on commercial/fleet vehicles. This warranty is extended only to the owner of the vehicle on which the
A1 CARDONE unit is installed, for as long as that person owns the vehicle, and is not transferable.
REMEDY and SERVICE
A replacement for a failed or defective A1 CARDONE unit is available from the point of purchase. The unit must be
returned with proof of purchase and a written description of the failure or defect.
EXCLUSIONS
CARDONE makes no warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular use or purpose and no other
warranties, representations or guarantees, whether written or oral, beyond those contained in this warranty. The
replacement of the unit is the sole and exclusive remedy for the claims of any type (including personal injury) aris-
ing from the failure or defective condition of the A1 CARDONE unit, from CARDONE's negligence or breach of
legal duty, or otherwise. CARDONE will not reimburse the vehicle owner for the cost of removing or returning the
failed or defective unit, installing the replacement unit or replacing any other parts, or for any other expenses,
charges or damages.
LIMITATION ON LIABILITY
To the extent allowed by law, CARDONE will have no obligation to the vehicle owner for any incidental or
consequential damages arising from the failure or defective condition of the A1 CARDONE unit, from CARDONE's
negligence or breach of legal duty, or otherwise. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or
consequential damages, so the above limitations or exclusions may not apply to you. This warranty gives you
specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights, which vary from state to state.
