System Logs
41-001391-00 Rev 03 – 04.2012 8-6
Additional Information
When viewing any of the System Logs, the last log line on a page may be repeated as the first log line on the next page
when the Next button is pressed. This is not the case with the Prev button (since it uses a different algorithm to search
backwards).
When none or fewer than the requested number of log lines are returned, one of the following situations could be the
cause. Either the end or the beginning of the file was reached before the server could find the requested amount (or the
file is zero in size), or there were not enough search criteria matches in a maximum configured upper bound search line
limit in the server back-end.
For every file boundary event that occurs in the back end, a informative associated warning message is displayed for the
administrator. These include if it started/reached a file begin/end boundary or when it has reached it's maximum lines
limit during a search. The maximum line limit is currently set to around 100,000 lines to be searched.
