Location Lookup

Location Lookup
Location Lookup is used to determine if a server can resolve a Request URI, and shows the decisions made to do so.
Request URI
The SIP URI to be resolved
From URI
The SIP URI that originated the SIP message
Via IP List
A list of IPs that the message should pass through to get to the server. The IPs are processed in the order specified
and can be modified to test various setups. The bottom IP is last IP before the message reaches the server.
If the last of the IPs matches a configured telephony device, the Request URI is checked against the numbers
assigned to users from that device, and rewritten to the correct URI. The same is true of the From URI. If any of the Via
IPs matches a network configured with devices as a source network, it will match.
Decisions (not editable)
Lists the decisions made in trying to resolve the Request URI. A short description of each decision is given as they are
made until the target is resolved or the process terminates unsuccessfully.
Target (not editable)
The final SIP URI target as it is resolved, or an empty field if the target was not resolved.
