Activating a Substitution for the Operator Console
You want to forward calls to your Operator Console to a different destination.
The substitution function is used to forward calls intended for Operator Consoles. The substitu-
tion is automatically activated for all the other Operator Consoles as well. Calls to your Personal
key are not affected by the forwarding.
Answering Calls to a Two-Company System
Your two-company system rings. The LED next to the Line key begins to flash.
The display shows whether the call is intended for Company A or B.
Making calls to a two-company system
You are operating a two-company system and want to appear either as Company A or as Com-
pany B, as necessary.
Requirement: The system and your Operator Console have been set up by the system adminis-
trator.
Menu
Press the Menu Foxkey.
Settings
Scroll to Settings and press the Select Foxkey.
Operator
Scroll to Operator and press the Select Foxkey.
Substitution
Activating the substitution:
Scroll to Substitution and press the Select Foxkey.
Substitution is now activated.
Deactivate
Deactivating the substitution:
Press the Deactivate Foxkey.
Substitution is now deactivated.
Notes:
Calls already on the Operator Console when the substitution function is acti-
vated are not forwarded.
The substitution cannot be activated by remote control.
Pick up the handset.
Call for Company A.
Press the Line key and answer as Company A.
Call for Company B.
Press the Line key and answer as Company B.
