Gear lever
The gear lever (3) is located in the crossbar between the handles (1) and is used to
determine both ground speed and direction. It can be moved to any of 8 positions (6
forward speeds, 2 reverse speeds).
WARNING! Always release the drive and auger control lever and
wait until rotating parts come to a full stop before changing the
gear!
When starting the product, always use a lower gear position first!
Forward speeds
Press the gear lever (3) downwards and set it to one of the six positions to the left
and set it upward to operate the product in forward mode (1 = slow, 6 = fast) (Fig.
32).
Choose a slower speed for heavier snow and faster speed for light snow and
transporting the product.
NOTE: We recommend using a slower speed until you are familiar
with the operation of the product.
