Options
The following sections describe
programming options available for
the SLC 500. You can create and edit
ladder programs using a personal
computer or the 1747-PT1 Hand-Held
Terminal (HHT, for SLC 5/01 and
5/02 processors only).
RSLogix 500™ Programming Software
The RSLogix 500 ladder logic programming package helps
you maximize performance, save project development time,
and improve productivity. This product has been developed
to operate on Microsoft’s 32-bit, Windows 95

Windows 98

and Windows NT
™
operating
systems. Supporting Allen-Bradley’s SLC 500
and MicroLogix families of processors, RSLogix
500 was the first PLC programming software to offer unbeatable
productivity with an industry-leading user interface.
RSLogix 500 programming packages are compatible with programs created
with Rockwell Software’s DOS-based programming packages for the SLC 500
and MicroLogix families of processors, making program maintenance across
