Descriptions
Diathermy
While the system is priming, you can select the Diathermy (DIA) mode (a function
which does not require irrigation and aspiration flow) and perform Diathermy
procedures. This process is referred to as a Diathermy during Prime.

If Diathermy is selected during Prime, the screen indicates the Prime/Tune status
and any messages associated with the prime and/or tune.
The WHITESTAR SIGNATURE™ System provides power for bipolar
coagulation or diathermy. The amount of diathermy power is shown on the
Diathermy screen. If Panel power is selected, you can increase or decrease power
by pressing the Up or Down arrows on the Power control panel. If the Linear mode
is selected, the power is controlled with the footpedal up to the maximum preset
value.
Note: Press on the number in the Settings control panel to open a numeric keypad
and enter the required value. Refer to Figure 3.17 Numeric Keypad Pop-up
Window. Press Enter when you are finished.
