● In the Start in field, enter the path to the administrative installation folder (e.g. \\MyFileServer\Programs
Distribs\ABBYY FineReader 10)
10. On the Environment tab of the Program Properties dialog box:
● Select Run with administrative rights
● Make sure that Runs with UNC name is selected
11. Change the condition in the Program can run field if required and click OK.
12. You
can also use the Distribute Software Wizard. To run the wizard, on the Action menu, select All
Tasks>Distribute Software
and follow the instructions of the wizard.
Important! You cannot create Distribution Points.
Using Task Scheduler
To install ABBYY FineReader on workstations using Task Scheduler:
1. Perform administrative installation (see Step 1. Administrative installation
).
2. Make sure that Task Scheduler is running on the workstation, that a user with local administrator rights is registered on the
workstation, and that this user has access rights to the administrative installation folder and to the ABBYY FineReader 10
License Server.
