4- and 8-bit - Palette
16-bit - Mask
24-bit - Palette and TrueColor
32-bit - Mask

4- and 8-bit - gray
JPEG: gray and TrueColor
TIFF: black and white - uncompressed, CCITT3, CCITT3FAX, CCITT4, Packbits
