CHAPTER 25. SHARING LIVE SETS 450
Enter the Set's Name in
the Upload Details
Window.
If you are not already logged in to your ableton.com account, you will then be prompted to
enter your username and password.
Log In to Upload Your
Set.
After you have logged in, Live will begin uploading your Set, along with any referenced
media les that are not already on Ableton's server. Depending on the size of your Set and
media, the upload can take some time. The process happens in the background, allowing
you to continue working normally with Live. If you quit the program while an upload is in
progress, you will be asked if you would like to resume it the next time you run Live.
25.1.1 Non-Portable Tracks
If your Set contains any devices which are not available to every Live user (e.g., any third-
party plug-ins or Ableton's add-on instruments such as Operator), you will be given a chance
to Freeze the affected tracks before uploading. You will also have the option to Freeze any
