527 Using Push
Scene/Grid Section
Scene/Grid Section.
These buttons also change their functionality depending on whether Session Mode or Note
Mode is selected. When Session Mode is selected, these buttons launch Session View scenes.
When Note Mode is selected, the Scene/Grid Section determines the rhythmic resolution of re-
peated notes when Repeat is enabled and, for MIDI tracks containing a Drum Rack, determines
the rhythmic resolution of the step sequencer grid.
Footswitches
Two ports on the back of Push allow you to connect momentary footswitches. Footswitch 1 acts
as a sustain pedal. Footswitch 2 is not yet supported, but will be added in a future update.
Note that certain footswitches may behave “backwards; notes will sustain only when the pedal
is not depressed. Footswitch polarity can usually be corrected by connecting the footswitch
to the port while depressing it, but we recommend using footswitches with a physical polarity
switch.
