Analog, HD-SDI and network cameras in
the tribrid system
The HDVR processes the signals of all three common camera
technologies: analog, HD-SDI, and IP. The number and type
of camera inputs are freely congurable: 4 video cards for
analog (16 channels each), HD-SDI (4 channels each), and
network cameras can be combined. This allows you to gear
up the system perfectly toward the requirements of your
project planning. If a project relies on HD 1080p network
cameras, for example, HD-SDI cameras can be used in areas
without broadband network access.
Individual component selection
using the configurator
Use the congurator to put together your HDVR especially for
your project. The HDVR basic version as a starting point, you
create your own system regarding the most important hard-
ware components, such as video cards, hard drives, and RAID
conguration, and you select the soware settings. Choose
from more than 250 possible combinations to build a tailored
recorder that fullls your requirements in an optimal man-
ner, sets standards in terms of performance and extensibility,
and leaves nothing to be desired.
Performance features at a glance
• Up to 16 HD-SDI channels
• Up to 24 network camera channels
• Up to 64 SD channels (analog standard cameras)
• Real-time recording with 25 frames/sec. on all channels
• Total frame rate of up to 1600 frames/sec.
• H.264 hardware compression for a smooth live cast
• Max. storage capacity of 8 TB with hardware RAID
HD resolution in real time – smooth
images on all channels
Live cast, recording, and playback are in full resolution.
Thanks to native recording, streams from HD network cam-
eras are recorded at 25 fps on a one-to-one basis. All current
ABUS network cameras are supported. Additionally, the
H.264 hardware compression allows images from analog and
HD-SDI cameras to be recorded in top quality with low space
requirements, and it also allows them to be displayed as a
live display without delay or judder.
