Coaxial wireless network and 2-wire transmission are the most popular transmittion methods for video
signals from the camera to a monitor or a recorder. Also ideal for projectors.
The distance is important
The signal transmission via coaxial cable is the most cost-effective option and suitable for ranges up to
150 meters. 2-wire transmission are used for longer distances with ranges of 1 to 1.5 km. Important good
cable shielding and clean cable transitions.
Easy installation
2-wire transmission combine transmitter and receiver. You connect the transmitting module to the video
output of your camera and the receiver module to the video input of your monitor. Both modules are
connected by a twisted pair cable (CAT5 cable with RJ45 socket) or via existing 2-wire copper wires (a
telephone wire, for example).
Audio, RS485 data and images
In addition to analog video signals, transmit audio signals with a 1.5 km 2-wire transmission set or RS-485
data signals with this set.
