Avoid these locations for installation!
• Spots where there are greater temperature fluctuations than the operating
temperature range (+4°C to +45°C).
• Locations where draft air can keep smoke away from the detector,
such as next to windows, doors or ventilation shafts.
• Spots where moisture, increased air humidity or exhaust emissions
can trigger false alarms, such as in kitchens, bathrooms or garages.
• Locations that can negatively influence the functionality of the detector
due to high dust and contamination loads.
• At the highest point of “A”-shaped ceilings.
The distance to the peak of the ceiling should be at least 30 cm.
