TheEthernetSettingspageconfiguresthenetworkbehavioroftheEthernetports,
indicatingthataport providesanInternetconnectionforwirelessclientsattached
tothelocalnetwork(routedtotheInternet),isbridgeddirectlytotheInternet,
connectedtotheguestnetwork,orprovideshotspotservice.
ThefollowingitemsarecommonforallpagesunderEthernetSet tings:

Status
—Enablesordisablesthisport.(Default:ON)

Auto‐negotiation — Enables or disables auto‐negotiation for a given
interface.(Default:ON)
1000BASE‐Tdoesnotsupportforcedmode.Auto‐negotiationshouldalwaysbe
usedtoestablishaconnectionover any1000BASE‐Tport.
Whenauto‐negotiationisenabled,theaccesspointwillnegotiatethebest
settingsforalinkbasedonadvertisedcapabilities.
