APPLIANCE SAFETY • • • • Your safety and the safety of others are very important to us. We have provided many important safety messages in this manual and on your appliance. Always read and obey all safety messages. You can be seriously injured or even killed if you don’t follow instructions. Safety messages will tell you what the potential hazard is, how to reduce the chance of injury, and what can happen if the instructions are not followed.
INSTALLATION OF YOUR APPLIANCE NOTE: Allow the appliance to sit upright for 24 hours before turning on to allow the compressor lubricant to drain. 1. Remove packaging materials. 2. Remove tape and glue residue from surfaces before turning on the appliance. Rub a small amount of liquid dish soap over the adhesive with your fingers. Rinse with warm water and dry. 3. Do not use sharp instruments, rubbing alcohol, flammable fluids, or abrasive cleaners to remove tape or glue.
CAUTION: Failure to follow these instructions can result in fire, electrical shock or death. Recommended Grounding Method: A 115 Volt (AC only) 60 Hz grounded electrical supply with a 15- or 20- amp fuse or circuit breaker is required. It is recommended that a separate circuit serving only your appliance be provided. Use outlets that cannot be turned off by a switch or pull chain. Do not use an extension cord.
TEMPERATURE SELECTION AND MONITORING Your appliance may have a mechanical (dial) or digital thermostat. Listed below are instructions for both mechanical and digital thermostats. Manual (dial) Thermostats (on some models) Your appliance may be controlled with a thermostat knob located inside or in the rear of the unit, towards the right-hand corner. Turn the knob clockwise from the STOP (0) position toward the higher numbers for colder temperatures.
Digital Thermostat for the AGP96RF/AGP34RF The temperature range of the refrigerated section of your appliance -2ºC to 8ºC (35ºF-46ºF). The freezer will operate below -10ºC (14 ºF). If you find it necessary to change the temperature setting for your digital thermostat, please refer to the following instructions. NOTE: The temperature can only be adjusted for the refrigerated section. The freezer temperature will auto adjust based on the refrigerator setting but cannot be adjust independently.
Probe Hole/Access Port (PRO Series) PRO series refrigerators and freezers include a 3/8” probe hole to allow users to install their own monitoring equipment. The probe hole is usually located in the upper part of the rear cabinet. If you are having difficulty locating the hole, refer to the product’s brochure on our website. If installing your own thermometer, alarm, or data logger, we recommend using a device with a buffered temperature probe and placing the probe towards the center of the unit.
Programming the Alarms The thermometer displays the internal temperature of the unit being monitored, as well as the maximum and minimum temperatures reached. The maximum and minimum readings reflect the highest and lowest temperatures since the battery was inserted or since the MODE/RESET key was last pressed. If the temperature rises above or falls below the set temperature range, the alarm will sound. By default, the high alarm temperature setting is 8°C (46.
KEYPAD LOCK A keypad lock is optional on most models. Use the instructions below to use your keypad lock. Factory-set Default Password The factory-set default password is 0123. If the default password is lost, press the key (located inside the battery box) for 30 seconds, then wait for the warning sound which signifies the factory-set default password has been restored.
COMBINATION LOCK LLF3 Combination Lock for the AGP96RF and AGP34RF Series Manufacturer’s Combination The manufacturer has set the combination code at 0-0-0-0. Resetting the Combination 1. Make sure the digit wheels are set at the correct code so that the housing turns freely. The cam should be engaged so that the doors of the appliance cannot open. 2. Use a screwdriver or other tool to push down and hold the reset button, located on the underside of the lock, until you have entered your new code. 3.
OPERATION OF SPECIFIC MODELS FF6L, FF7L, FF28LWH, FF511L, FF521BL, FF590SSHH, FFAR24L, FFAR10, FFAR12W, FFAR121SS, SCR600L PLUS2, PRO, & MED Series; SP6DS2D, SP6DS, SP6DSSTB PLUS2 Series only; SCR610BL, SCR1156 MED Series only These models are all-refrigerators (no freezer compartment) with automatic defrost. All have cold plates on the rear wall, and the coldest spots in the refrigerator will be in the rear and toward the bottom. All have interior fans to promote even cooling.
APPLIANCE CARE Defrosting CAUTION: Never use a metal object to remove ice from the rear wall. If needed, use a plastic ice scraper. Refrigerator models listed in this manual defrost automatically. However, freezer models require manual defrosting. Before defrosting the unit, remove the contents of the freezer, then set the thermostat to OFF (the compressor will stop working). Leave the door open until ice and frost are completely melted.
Loss of Power In the event of power loss, unplug the appliance. Once power is restored, allow 30 minutes for the refrigeration system to equalize. During this time, keep the door closed as much as possible. NOTE: A full appliance stays cold longer than a partially filled one. Moving the Appliance 1. 2. 3. 4. Remove stored items and tape shelves, drawers and trays in place. Unplug the appliance. Clean it thoroughly. Tape the appliance shut and tape the electrical cord to the cabinet.
TROUBLESHOOTING Try these solutions first to avoid the cost of an unnecessary service call. The appliance is not operating. • Is the power supply cord unplugged? Plug into a grounded 3-prong outlet. • Has a fuse blown or a circuit breaker been tripped? Replace the fuse or reset the circuit. • Is the thermostat incorrectly set? See How to Adjust the Temperature on page 10. The motor is constantly running, or running too much.

INSTALLATION DE VOTRE APPAREIL REMARQUE : Laissez l'appareil reposer à la verticale pendant 24 heures avant de l'allumer pour permettre au lubrifiant du compresseur de s'écouler. 1. Remorve Retirez les matériaux d'emballage. 2. Retirez le ruban adhésif et les résidus de colle des surfaces avant d'allumer l'appareil. Frottez une petite quantité de savon à vaisselle liquide sur l'adhésif avec vos doigts. Rincer à l'eau tiède et sécher. 3.
REMARQUE : N'installez pas l'appareil près d'un four, d'un radiateur ou d'une autre source de chaleur, ni dans un endroit où la température chutera en dessous de 40°F (5°C). Ne pas placer en plein soleil. • • Pour des performances de température optimales, il est recommandé que cet appareil soit rempli à au moins 30 % pendant l'utilisation. Si vous n'utilisez cet appareil que pour stocker de petites charges, nous vous recommandons d'ajouter des bouteilles d'eau ou des packs de congélation pour assurer la stabilité de la température. L'extérieur de votre appareil peut être chaud. C'est normal.
ENTRETIEN DES APPAREILS Décongélation ATTENTION : N'utilisez jamais d'objet métallique pour retirer la glace de la paroi arrière. Au besoin, utilisez un grattoir à glace en plastique. Les modèles de réfrigérateur répertoriés dans ce manuel dégivrent automatiquement. Cependant, les modèles de congélateur nécessitent un dégivrage manuel. Avant de dégivrer l'appareil, retirez le contenu du congélateur, puis réglez le thermostat sur OFF (le compresseur s'arrêtera de fonctionner).
Remplacement de l'ampoule (certains modèles uniquement) REMARQUE : Toutes les ampoules d'appareils ne conviennent pas à votre appareil. SÉLECTION ET SURVEILLANCE DE LA TEMPÉRATURE Votre appareil peut avoir un thermostat mécanique (cadran) ou numérique. Vous trouverez cidessous des instructions pour les thermostats mécaniques et numériques. Thermostats manuels (à cadran) (sur certains modèles) Votre appareil peut être contrôlé par un bouton thermostatique situé à l'intérieur ou à l'arrière de l'appareil, vers le coin droit.
REMARQUE : La température affichée sur le thermostat numérique est la température de l'air interne. Votre alarme/thermomètre (installé à gauche dans le panneau de commande) fournit une lecture de température basée sur la sonde tampon afin de mieux simuler la température de ce qui est réellement stocké à l'intérieur de l'unité (par opposition à la température de l'air elle-même). En conséquence, ces lectures peuvent ne pas toujours afficher la même lecture de température.
Thermomètre (Modèles PLUS2) • • • • Ce thermomètre numérique affiche simultanément les températures maximales, minimale et actuelle. La fonction Max/Min surveille et stocke les lectures les plus élevées et les plus basses depuis que la batterie a été insérée ou depuis la dernière pression sur le bouton RESET. Le capteur de température, ou sonde, est enfermé dans une bouteille remplie de glycol qui est insérée dans l'emplacement à surveiller, comme à l'intérieur d'un réfrigérateur ou d'un congélateur.
Dans certaines unités, la tablette centrale est fixe et ne peut pas être retirée (voir image). En effet, la bouteille remplie de glycol qui contient les capteurs de température de votre alarme et de votre thermomètre est mieux stockée à cet endroit. Le centre de votre réfrigérateur ou congélateur fournira les lectures de température les plus précises. Pour une bonne surveillance de la température, maintenez la bouteille en place et ne retirez pas cette étagère.
• • Réglage de l'alarme sonore élevée : pour vous assurer que l'alarme élevée est audible, appuyez UNE FOIS sur la touche HIGH/LOW (pour activer HI-SET à l'écran). Appuyez ensuite UNE FOIS sur la touche ALERT ON/OFF pour activer le bip d'ALARME HAUTE. Appuyez à nouveau pour désactiver. Réglage de l'alarme sonore basse : Pour vous assurer que l'alarme de basse température est audible, appuyez DEUX FOIS sur la touche HIGH/LOW pour activer LOW-SET sur l'écran.
Suppression des mots de passe d'ouverture de porte Appuyez sur la touche START/END, entrez le mot de passe par défaut suivi de 0000, puis appuyez sur # et tous les mots de passe d'ouverture de porte seront supprimés, à l'exception du mot de passe par défaut. REMARQUE : Pour accéder au boîtier de la batterie, vous devez retirer uniquement les deux petites vis situées en haut et en bas de ce couvercle. Ne retirez pas les 4 vis maintenant le clavier et le couvercle à la porte de l'appareil.

Séries à usage général • • Ces modèles sont des réfrigérateurs-congélateurs à dégivrage cyclique. Les congélateurs sont conçus pour fonctionner à -4 °F (-20 °C), ce qui est idéal pour le stockage à long terme de certains matériaux sensibles. Les réfrigérateurs sont conçus pour fonctionner entre 33 °F et 50 °F (1-10°C) et se dégivrent automatiquement. Les séries AGP96RF et AGP34RF sont des réfrigérateurs-congélateurs à dégivrage cyclique.
DÉPANNAGE Essayez d'abord ces solutions pour éviter le coût d'un appel de service inutile. L'appareil ne fonctionne pas. • Le cordon d'alimentation est-il débranché ? Branchez-le dans une prise à 3 broches mise à la terre. • Un fusible a-t-il sauté ou un disjoncteur s'est-il déclenché ? Remplacez le fusible ou réinitialisez le circuit. • Le thermostat est-il mal réglé ? Voir Comment régler la température à la page 10. Le moteur tourne constamment ou tourne trop.
