Temperature Parameters
Your refrigerator comes with a digital thermostat (shown above) that is preset at 4ºC, with a
range of 2º to 8ºC. The freezer models are preset at -20 ºC with a range of -25 ºC to -10 ºC.
If you find it necessary to change the temperature setting of your digital thermostat-controlled
appliance, please refer to the section, Adjusting the Temperature.
It is recommended that you install the appliance in a place where the ambient temperature is
between 72º and 78ºF (23º-26ºC). If the ambient temperature is above or below the
recommended temperatures, the performance of the unit may be affected. For example, placing
your unit in extremely cold or hot conditions may cause interior temperatures to fluctuate. The
operating range of may not be reached.
Adjusting the Temperature
NOTE: The minimum and maximum range of your thermostat is preset and locked by us, so it
cannot easily be accidentally moved outside of the recommended temperature ranges. To
reset this range lock, call our Technical Support team at 718-893-3900 ext. 597.
To change the SET POINT: Press the SET key until the numbers displayed begin to blink. Use
the UP and DOWN arrows to change the set point to your desired temperature. Press the SET
button again to exit the adjustment. The display will revert to the internal air temperature.
To see the SET POINT: The default display for your digital thermostat is the internal cabinet
temperature. To view the unit’s set point, push and immediately release the SET key. The
display will flash, showing the set point value. If no other actions are taken in 6 seconds, the
display will revert to the internal air temperature.
NOTES:
If the unit is unplugged, or power is lost or turned off, you must wait 3 to 5 minutes before
restarting the unit. If you attempt to restart before this time delay, the unit will not start.
When you use the unit for the first time or restart the unit after it has been shut off for a long
time, there could be a few degrees variance between the temperature you select and the one
indicated on the LED readout. This is normal and is due to the length of the activation time.
There should not be a problem once the unit has been running for a few hours.
