Use two or more people to move and install the appliance. F ai lure to do so can resul t in back or
other injury.
To ensure proper venti lation for your appliance, the front of the unit must be com pl etely
unobstructed . Choose a well-ventilated area with temperatures above 6F (16°C) and below
90°F (32°C). This uni t must be installed i n an area protected from the elements, such as wind,
rain, water spray or dri ps.
The freezer should not be located next to ovens, radiators or other sources of high heat.
The freezer must be installed with all electrical, water and drain connect ions in accordanc e with
state and local codes. A standard electrical supply (115 V AC only, 60 Hz), properly grounded in
accordance with the National Electrical Code and local codes and ordinance s is required.
Do not kink or pinch the power supply cord of the freezer.
The fuse (or circuit breaker) size should be 15 amperes.
It is important for the appliance t o be leveled in order to work properly. You may need t o make
several adjustments to level it.
Check for leaks after connection.
This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including chil dren) with reduced physical,
sensory or mental c apabilities, or lack of experienc e and knowledge, unless they have been
given supervision or instructi on concerning use of t he appl iance by a person responsible for their
safety.
IMPORTANT: Do not use mechanical devices or other means t o accelerate the def rosting
process, other than those recomm ended by the manufac turer.
IMPORTANT: Do not damage the refrigerant circuit.
IMPORTANT: Do not use electrical appli ances inside the storage compartment of the appli ance
unless they are of t he type recommended by the manufacturer.
Do not use solvent-bas ed cleaning agents or abrasives on the interior. These c leaners may
damage or discol or the interior.
