INSTALLATION INSTR UCTIONS
Before Using Yo u r F r eezer
Remove the exterio r and interior pack i ng.
Before connecting the freezer to the power source, let it stand upright for approximately 2
hours. This will reduce the possibility of a malfunction in the cooling system from handling
during transportation.
Clean the interior surface with lukewarm water usi ng a soft cloth.
Installing Your Freezer
This appliance is designed to be free standing only, and should not be recess ed or bui lt-in.
Place your freez er on a surface t hat is strong enou gh to support it when it is fully loaded. To
level your appliance, adjust the l evel i ng leg at the bott om of the freezer.
Allow about 5” (1 2 cm) of spac e at the back and s ides of the ap pliance an d 4” (10 c m) at the
top. This wil l allow the proper air circ ul ation to cool the com pressor.
Locate the appliance away from direct sunlight and sources of heat (oven, heater, radiator,
etc.). Di rect sunlight may affect the acrylic coating and heat sources may increase electrical
consumption. Extremely cold ambient temperatures may also cause the freezer not to
perform properly.
Avoid locating t he appliance in moist areas.
Plug the appliance into an exclusive, properly installed and grounded wall outlet. Do not
under any circumstances cut or remove the third (ground) prong from the power cord. Any
questions concerning power and/or grounding should be directed toward a certified
electrician or an authorized servi ce center.
After plugging the appliance into a wall outlet, allow the unit to cool down for 2-3 hours
before placing i tems inside the c abinet.
Electrical Connection

Improper use of t he grounded plug can res ul t in the risk of electri cal shock. If the power c ord
is damaged, have it repl aced by an authorized service c enter.
