AM1210 Type S Reference Standard Thermocouple User’s Guide 1 Introduction and Specifications 1.1 Introduction AM1210 Type S Reference Standard Thermocouple is constructed using reference grade Platinum and Platinum vs. 10% Rhodium alloys. It covers a temperature range of 0 °C to 1300 °C with short term stability of 0.2 °C all the way to Freezing Point of Copper (1084.62 °C). It is commonly used as reference standard to calibrate industrial thermocouples.
