Chapter 3 – Setting up the controller

Removing a drive from a cable connector drive carrier

1. Unlock the appropriate disk carrier. The red

disk activity indicator will light.

2. Slide the drive carrier out of its slot.

3. Lift the disk drive slightly out of the carrier

and detach the power  and IDE 

connectors.

4. Lift out the disk drive.
