Set up through CLI
The Command Line Interface (CLI) is a set of commands which allows
users to configure or monitor the RAID system by entering lines of text
through a variety of the terminal consoles.
The embedded CLI can be accessed remotely by the Ethernet (TCP/IP)
and locally by the RS232 terminal. And by Ethernet, you may use Telnet
and SSH (Secure Shell).
Telnet client software is available for all operating systems, and you can
download the SSH client software from the following web sites:
SSHWinClient: http://www.ssh.com/
PuTTY: http://www.chiark.greenend.org.uk/~sgtatham/putty/
To set up the IP Address through CLI:
1. Establish LAN communications with the RAID controller. See Step 4.
Setting Up LAN Connections on page 16 for more details.
2. Open your terminal program and log in to CLI using the following
information:
•User name: admin
•Password: 0000
3. Use the following command to set up the IP address.
