3. To make sure the hard disks are unused, click RAID Management from

the Config Mode menu to check the status.

4. Click Disk Groups from the Config Mode menu. The following screen

appears.

5. Click Create to open Create Disk Group screen.

6. Select a DG ID from the drop-down menu.

7. Use the system default name as dgx. ‘x’ is the DG identifier. Or

Uncheck the ‘Use system default name’ box and enter the name in

the Name field. The maximum name length is 63 bytes.
