6.2 Docking Station
6.2.1 Power supply
The M2Smart
®
SE and the replacement rechargeable battery may only be charged in the DS2Smart
®
docking
station with the appropriate power supply.
 External power supply for DS2Smart
®
 Input voltage ~ 100 - 240 V AC; 1.0 A max.; 50 - 60 Hz
 Output voltage 15 V DC; 2.4 A
 Power cable (country-specific)
6.2.2 Interfaces
The interfaces of the DS2Smart
®
docking station will be described below. These are mounted on the rear.

The connections are described from left to right:
 The USB socket type A is the USB host interface. The connected USB devices are identified by the
USB host adapter in the M2Smart
®
SE.
 The RJ45 socket is the Ethernet interface (10/100 Mbit). The network communication takes place via
the Ethernet interface on the M2Smart
®
SE.
 Insert the DC connector of the power supply in the DC socket for the supply voltage.
